I have just completed, almost, a T1, battery powered with the TIU in the baggage car. Started Feb. 12, 2017. I am running one MTH one gauge F3 motor to two MTH modified Hudson gear boxes. PS3 and sounds good. Here are some pics. Bob.

Yes John, and thank you for your kind words. I thought that would be easy to take two MTH Hudsons and just throw them together and call it a kitbash, but that was far from the way it went. The only parts from the Hudson were the frames, wheels and the gear boxes which I had to modify from an angled input shaft to a straight one, so one motor and two gear boxes, MTH PS3 electronics, sounds good, TIU is in the baggage. Everything else was scratch built from patterns that I made, then molds. I enjoyed making it and when I get my outside layout built, I will have fun running it.
Very nice Robert! The T1 is my favorite streamlined. If I was a mainline modeler I’d want to have one! Any chance you could take some higher resolution pictures or an updated video ? EDIT - Perhaps those ARE high resolution pictures; just that LSC’s “Attach Photo” feature makes them pretty small. Try posting to an Album or check out your free Freight Shed. Plenty of folks here will help you get the hang of it.

That is correct, I know of two. I think they made some models by hand and then later started using patterns like the one that I built. Bob.
