ARISTOCraft> Teddy Bear (& Hershey) roadnames

Yepper, a spin-off from the forsale/trade thread ;

If you go to the Aristo’UnCatalog thru this link; http://aristodatabase.x10host.com/

And scroll down (by Roadname) to ‘Teddy Bear’, you will see quite a impressive line-up within this ‘roadname’ .

Hershey is not so well referenced. Surprisingly, peoples did not care to take the time to submit pics of their rolling stock for this road’.

p.s. while down in PA for my first ECLSTS ('01?) I had stopped into Hershey plant complex in hopes of taking in a factory tour … big disappoint as by then it was just a canned/ sterile videoshow/ride. Afterwards in the shop I did notice they had 2-3 pcs (maybe it was the starter set) Aristocraft on the shelves. Maybe still there if Hershey corp. haven’t closed everything down at that locale.

nite.

Not being a big candy freak anyhow, I make a point of NEVER purchasing any Hershy products, since they closed their plant here in Canada, and the one in Hershy PA, and moved just about everything to Mexico…

I am a chocoholic and used to love going to the Hershey plant in Smith Falls about 45 minutes west of Ottawa.

But when they closed the plant and went to Mexico, I sanded the Hershey lettering off my two collectable tank cars.

A quick coat of Krylon semi-flat black, some Brother label lettering, and PRESTO! two handsome tank cars.
