Where is the traveling Rooster ?

Haven’t heard from or about him in quite awhile ?

Personally I don’t think it’s really any of your business Mrs. Kravits so you can close the blinds now

Rumor has it he will make an appearance on the Candlewood Valley Scenic before too long. He was incarcerated in Massachussetts but escaped.

Does this count?

Mike, you’ll have to ask the masses on those pics. (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

That’s a good question. Last I heard he was vacationing in the New England area, but as Winter approaches he should be seen heading South.

Ha! the Roving Roaming Rooster. What ever did happen to him?

He visited my RR in the Spring of 2014 and we made a movie to commemorate his visit. For those new members that don’t know what we are talking about here he is causing trouble.

“The Factory is called CHINA, because everything is made here” - I like the Factory name. Every railroad should have an industry like that.

Like Todd Haskins.

Rooster came here in Rio Linda CA. on around Sept 2014 and we made a 5 part videos of his time here.

Part one - When he met Goofey Hot pants

If like to see the other videos of our 5 part Rooster videos, go to our U-tube site.

He dose get around.

So like others, wondering what happen to Rooster touring around the world.

Just clip on a bad raining day here and I think this was before Rooter show up a few month later…

Rooster was here a few years ago.

Since I am replacing the layout and moving indoors maybe he will want to see it again? I’ll serve KFC!

I don’t give a “cluck” where he is! (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)

Too bad he wouldn’t take a name, it’s harder to eat a pet!

Maybe John. I’ll never forget being invited to dinner at a friend’s farm. The main course was a pork roast. Half way though dinner the host asked “So how does Petunia taste?” Petunia had been their pet house piglet.

After seeing the videos from Todd and Noel, now I understand, no worries, thanks Dave

An oldy but a goody…How Rooster got his green foot.

That is Cibola green for those of you coming to the show late.

As rumored earlier, the Traveling Rooster was recently incarcerated in Dead Rooster Gulch, Massachusetts where he has been serving out a sentence for Conduct Unbecoming a Domestic Fowl. Once released he hopped the first freight South on the NVRY with a connection to the Candlewood Valley Scenic Railway. The Rooster had hoped to arrive before the cold weather set in so he could tour the famous Candlewood Lake, but having missed several connections and then going on a 30 day bender at a hobo camp in Great Barrington, he finally arrived in Honey Grove in the Candlewood Valley in late October. He is seen here checking out the Halloween decorations in front of Dave’s Big Indian Cigar Emporium. The proprietor of the Big Indian, one Russ David, offered the Rooster a second floor room in the Emporium where he could stay for the winter until the Scenic Railway re-opens in the spring and he can once again be photographed partaking in his favorite pass time of railfanning.
