Next up in my “Clean out the shop, one way or the other” project are these Hubley kits. Ive had one of them built for 10+ years. These have been in the back of a shelf (hence the heavy coating of dust). Time to build em!
What’s that Chebby doing in with all those Fords?
Hey, cool. Those are some great models.
I use a toaster oven to bake on the finish…of course I do leave them outside most of the time.
IF you are going to do the same, make sure to paint all of the chrome…it is NOT UV resistant.
I typically leave out the motors and drive trains…
Oh, and make sure that you spray those tires!!! They really don’t like UV.

SWEET!
I’m thinking a 521 dinosaur block with Brodix heads and a Weiland 8-71 huffer for the 30 Vicky. However you will need it tube framed first and an 8 point cage would be recommended as well!
Hey Bob,
I would trade you a '32 Chevrolet Phaeton for one of those ol ford pickups.
You don’t want to have to build two of the same thing, that is so boring (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)
Rick
I have a stack of those as well. Hmmmmm…I might have to dig them out. After I’m done with the four projects on the bench right now.
FOUR?! (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)Gee, I wish I only had four, or eight, or maybe even 10 or 12… (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-undecided.gif)
