Blue Rail Trains

I saw this the other day and am thinking of trying it. Does anyone know about it or have any thoughts about it?

I will be using it in an “Annie” and maybe a center cab diesel.

Yea, Bob McCown’s been trying it out in a center cab diesel. We got a little demonstration of it in August during his TrainOps session.

Thanks for the link.

I see he put it in a Bachmann Davenport. I am thinking of an Aristo Center cab Diesel that has 2 motor blocks in it

I e-mailed blue Rail and this is what he wrote back:

“I think two 2-Amp motors would be at the top of the amperage curve for this first board. My sense is that it could work, but that you would have a limit on how many cars you could pull (like if you exceed towing 8-10 cars the board will shut itself down). I do not have a date yet for the high-amperage board, but I am digging out my backyard for a G scale layout, so i need to get it rolling soon.”

I have a small layout sooooooo maybe if I run only 3 or 4 cars it may work in a center cab.
