New Blog with Snow Plowing Video

Hi Folks,

I’ve started a new blog page on my site! For my first post, I’ve included a compilation of snow plowing through Rockwall Canyon.

The blog will cover a range of topics encompassing our garden railway journey as a family. Look forward to further fun, informative posts, “How-to” videos, pictures, and more!

Hope you enjoy!

Yuck! I feel for the GPs!

I think it will be an early spring though. Great looking RR.

Good idea the Blog

IN the video that is one brave camera guy hanging off the platform capturing the action. I was waiting for a drift to catch him in the face!

Sort of like a “told you so” moment.

Thanks Guys! Yes this really was the heavy wet stuff. I need to figure out a better camera angle for the onboard view. Looks like more snow Monday!

Nice work Jeff. I like your blog and home page layout. I also like that you promote it as a family activity. I have two daughters, one just turned 11 and she really likes helping, especially the landscaping.

Thanks

Steve

Thanks Steve! It truly is great to share the hobby with our kids. As you mention, garden railroading is perhaps a bit more conducive to gathering the attention of daughters too.

I think our conductor is a bit warmer in this video! My oldest daughter and I have 3 trains running simultaneously!

Great videos & good start on the blog. I think I recognized a hopper in that second video (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Great video. Nothing beats trains running in the snow. Good start on the blog.

Really nice videos, and a good looking layout in a beautiful setting – though I think the section gang must have their hands full keeping the tracks clear of debris, especially in the fall!
