RAILROAD DAYS - FULLERTON

Saturday, May 2nd - 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM – Sunday, May 3rd - 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

For those living in the LA/Orange County area, Fullerton station will be the site for the annual Railroad Days show. The big steamer will be fired up and arrive from Los Angeles, along with a Disney steamer, and a giant BSNF diesel. Be sure to walk through the three cabooses. Plus, over 50 vendors and a number of RR module display clubs under huge tents. If attending, I’ll be hosting the cab of the diesel on Saturday – please say “hello!” Last year we drew over 25,000 enthusiasts.

Fired-up steamer at Railroad Days in Fullerton

The steamer is (the Northern) #3751 on-steam from Los Angeles to Fullerton. The crew is prepared to answer questions and show the cab.

For those attending Railroad Days in Fullerton (Fullerton station), there is parking in a new 3 level parking garage west of the station off Santa Fe Road. Santa Fe takes off Harbor just north of the railroad trestle crossing Harbor Blvd. There is no charge for parking nor for the show.

To meet you, I may be in the cabooses alternating with the BNSF diesel.
