Charging Jacks for Sound Systems

Where does one get a charging jacks for a sound system? I have 2 older Dallee systems that I’m putting into a USAT S4 and a NW2.

I went to the local radio shack and got a sweet deal on a NIMH 9 volt rechargeable battery. They had only one left for $4.97. The regular price was $14.99. The clerk said they redesigned the package so that is why they were clearing them out. The new price for the same battery is $24.99.

NO wonder RS is going bankrupt.

Anyways, I’m looking for a socket that can be wired in and a charger to plug in so I won’t need to take the loco apart to get to the battery every time it discharges.

Thanks guys.

I use these for all of my battery/RC engines though I don’t have any sound cards -

The following drawing and parts list shows one of the methods I use to wire my locos. This example is from my Accucraft C-19. you can read the entire start-to-finish article on how I did the battery conversion at http://www.rhyman.org/articles/c-19-battery-conversion

Bob

A most excellent log Bob.

I have the wiring diagram for my dallee install, what I don’t have is a source for the battery charger cable and plug.

I checked the link to G scale graphics that Mark suggested but I didn’t see the actual charger just the plugs.

I’m nervous about buying a plug and then not having the proper charger that I plug into the wall outlet and the battery will be damaged. Someone must sell a matched set? I have many of the plug into wall outlet transformers maybe I can use one of those but at what rating?

I use the charging plug also sold by G-Scale Graphics -
