Be nice to have ya out, Ken…

Won’t be there this time, I’m running a floor layout at the Mississippi Valley N Scalers Train Show in Kirkwood for that weekend.

Weather: Friday, high in the mid 70’s…

Saturday, High around 80… 30% chance of rain saturday night…

Sunday, High in mid 70’s, 30% chance of rain, mostly in the morning…

lookin good!

And…I’m gonna miss this one too…have to road trip to DC with Mom at the end of the month and work didn;t want me off twice in that time…

Ken should be here tomorrow night…look for photos in the Autumn Photo Thread…

I had a chance to help with some of the work to get ready for this week’s OPs. Things are really coming along and with the heat that we have had this late Summer. Should be a fun weekend.

Saturday started with a nice little rain shower around 10… Just enough to make everything wet, but not really enough to make the ground muddy…

Had about 14 folks, and we ran 11 trains for the day… Temps were nice, around mid 70-s…

Pictures were taken, and will be added later…

Sunday’s Ops were even better… Wonderful weather, great friends, and a total of 19 trains for the day…

Ok, here’s a few pictures from the weekend Ops:

Yup, got home just fine. Spent about 4 hours in Louisville on Monday with my old platoon leader from Nam. Got to Barts about 8.

Looks great dad!
