Large Scale Central

Guiness Beer Loco Driver

I started this 1:20.32 scale figure a few weeks ago for a friends Guinness Beer Locomotive. He is currently using the cheap Bachmann figure you see to your right. The Bachmann figure inspired me to start sculpting again. It came with a very detailed 1:20.32 scale American 4-4-0 model that I used for the basis of my Lanakila bash. The loco detail was so beautifully done, I was shocked to see this grotesque parody, and decided that I could do better. That wasn’t hard, but now I need to do better than I have so far and this is a pretty good step forward. I need to add lapels and a hat, but I haven’t decided yet how they will look.

I actually got two figures out of this one.

Richard,
I have long admired your work and ability with 1:20 scale figures.
The fine detail that your able to bring out in this scale amazes me.

Just thought I would let you know that your work
does not go un-admired.
Rick

Thanks Rick, much appreciated.

Final coat. This figure is 4 orders shy of going into production mode. He will be available as a custom painted figure in the Exclusives if I don’t get the remaing 4 orders by the end of the month.

Incredible work! Such detailed, life-like figures.

Can we see it in it’s intended location
You do make us all envious!
Now you need a now "2011 " guy with a Guinness shirt!
Sean

I expect that figure to be able to talk! He will look right at home on the layout.

SEan, Doug, thanks. As soon as Henner finishes his fine loco I will see if I can get a video to share with everyone. Doug, I’m sorry but I was not able to put a chip big enough to enable the figure to talk. My apologizes

Just needs to burp!
