      Doc Watson is Back

It's been awhile, but I haven't succumbed to anything of a threatening nature.  What I have been doing is working at my normal slow pace in my shop all these long months on a project that I have long yearned to do.  I have included a teaser and a hint that the National Narrow Gauge Convention is just around the corner.

I'll be back to fill in the details.

      Doc

I fondly remember cruising around with you and Stapleton at the last Hickory and your amazing winning coach.  Can't wait to see what you're up to this time.

Were the Macadamian's related to the Vaderbilts ?

Bruce,  I bought some brass flat stock from Etsy. A friend told me about it. You can get it it a number of widths and it comes in a roll so it’s already bent. A great find.

This is all your fault Doc!

Yep. Nothing like seeing a post from "Deleted Member" to bring it all rushing back . . .

I suspect that's one of the best aspects of the Internet - we get to find out all kinds of neat ideas.

      Honestly Peter,

I was referring to some of the damn good members and some LSC fallen flags (meaning now deceased in case those that don't understand). John C, Steve F, Mik (wow just Mik).   Rod  E. actually offered me one of his drives and I shot him down. Did you really read it twice as suggested/recommended?

Just saying and it's all good!

Sorry Doc for jacking up your, you're thread ...it's all good !

      Honestly Peter,

English Dry Humor is usually misinterpreted if taken literally.

And no, I didn't read all 10 pages of the original thread, though having worked as a docent at the B&O RR Museum I did like your loco.  Several photos are gone into the ether, e.g. https://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f72/Shortybear/CVRR%20History/Utility2.jpg.

I think most written humor fails to be appreciated.   Heck, the verbal humor doesn't do too well either.  (And NEVER mind MY style of "humor")
