I tested positive for Covid 12 days ago . It started with a low grade fever and a couple of days later I lost my sence of smell . At first it was very scary as im 66 years old and a life long smoker . I’m happy to report I never had respiratory issues . I’m feeling alot better now and things are getting better each day. I still feel weak and the doctor says that is kinda normal. I got my sence of smell back two days ago ! Thank you God ! Stay safe everyone !!

Whoa! Glad to hear you are on the mend. With this group, it might be better to lose your sense of smell, at least if we ever have physical get togethers again

Glad to hear Mike…not that you have had COVID, but you are on the mend. Please don’t let your guard down, my daughter had it in March and is still fighting the after effects.

Echoing others, don’t rush the recovery. The last thing you need is some sort of “snap-back” infection.

Thanks guys . I am still wearing masks around the house and cleaning , cleaning and more cleaning . I am not going back to work until mid December if all stays well . It’s bad stuff. The good thing that came of this is I stopped smoking . Not going back ! As I improve i’m starting to do some winter train projects . It helps alot to have a hobby to keep you going !

Two of our granddaughters in AZ had it during the summer, both had only mild symptoms.

Mike, glad to see you are on the mend, and even more glad to see you stopped smoking, I watched that habit take my father in law and my dad, and always root for someone to quit and hope you stay on that wagon!

My wife had It back in June, I think I may have had a very weak case of it then too. My granddaughter in Chicago just came out of quarantine. Thanksgiving day my sister in law got sick and spent 2 days in hospital. Yesterday another granddaughter found out she had a close contact at school, her next desk friend in 2 different classes, so now she has to quarantine for 14 days, and she is… was supposed to have her 16th birthday party this weekend. So this is touching more people in our personal circles as this wears on.
