      Brief Thread Resurrection:

This is Eric on behalf of O.D.  We took her shorty to the historical railroad today to compare her efforts to the real thing, especially in terms of paint selection:

That's pretty darn close!  Not visible is the roof.  We chose a t-shirt for the material.  That was a bearcat to work with, but, boy, was it spot on for texture!

Sorry to drag this thread up from the dead, but we both thought this was a cool side-by-side.

      On behalf of O.D.,

      Eric

      Eric,

OD has a lot to be proud of. The build was well done and well thought out. Her eye for details is quite good and her memory of color and tone is fantastic.

      WELL DONE OD!

No need to apologize,it’s always good to see a model and how it compares to the 1:1 inspiration. I hope she takes more role in building things and branches out on her own! Great Job OD!

      All,

I have passed along your compliments.  I reminded her that once she has the design of the company logo, I'll order the custom decals.  It's somewhere on her mile high project list!

      Eric
