      ISO Chessie Loco ($150-$200)

Looking for a Chessie loco of good condition in the $150 to $200 dollar range.

Prefer it to be diesel, but may consider steam.

Let me know if you have one you could part with.

      Thank you.

I'll take four at that price!

You did not say explicitly, but that is a GP40, right? Those are scarce as hen's teeth, and the first batch of Aristo GP40's had bad motors.

      Best of luck!

Thank you Greg. The photo is just for reference purposes. I'm not actually looking for a GP40, nor could I actually find one in my price range (if one were even available).

Joe, tell me the range (models) of locos you would accept, and I will put the feelers out. I know a guy .....

would be pretty hard to find a good steamer for that range, but $200 diesels do come up...

      Greg

      Greg,

Thank you for offering to keep an eye out. I'm not looking for anything in particular, just so long as it is a Chessie engine in good shape in my price range.
