testing footer

test, test

Gregory…you didn’t “copy image location”; I think you tried to copy or insert the image. Use image location. Send me a message if you need any help with it; I can call you or you can call me.

…really nice herald, by the way!!

Now it’s time to get yours in https: John, yours is a empty block to people logged in with https: (protecting their password)

Looks like the new freight shed works with https, but maybe not… got a certificate error…

Greg

Yeah, I couldn’t get the freight shed to work, either, so I went back to hosting on my own site. I originally lost the footer when I made some changes to the site and forgot to update the links. Merry Christmas to all!

yeah, maybe the freight shed won’t work because when I try https: on it it fails… http: works… I wish Bob would fix this. Half the site works on https: and half does not.

Greg

Greg which browser are you using?

If I use Edge I cannot post pictures from freight shed at all but if I use Internet Explorer or Firefox all works OK, possible conflict between site and Edge?

I log in with https: only

Greg, are you talking about John’s footer? I can see it logged in with https:

Are you absolutely sure? The url is:

https://freightsheds.largescalecentral.com/users/stfrancisconsolidatedrr/rrr47.jpg

I get nothing…

http://freightsheds.largescalecentral.com/users/stfrancisconsolidatedrr/rrr47.jpg

gives me a picture using firefox…

using internet explorer, it says that the certificate is wrong…

You probably have overridden the security on your browser so you can see it…

Using both Edge and Internet Explorer I get the site not secure error with this link.

Using both Edge and Internet Explorer I see the picture no problem with this link.

I have no idea how to override my security on any of my browsers security.

I can see it in the posts as well

I have no idea about this but it may help solve the problem if there is feedback from other users so just trying to help.

I have never had a report of my pictures not displaying. Most are hosted at a paid host, but do not have a certificate and are called as http:\ not https:.

When LSC began supporting https: I looked into getting a. certificate for my storage. My provider offers a free certificate, but only for top level domains beginning with www. Unfortunately, years ago I set up my photo hosting as sub-domains like lsc.cvsry.com. Because I organized with numerous sub domains I would need to buy a certificate for each sub-domain which is not affordable for me.
