Sounding good Joe. What did you use for the sound, RC control and it looks like you put the battery in the trailing car.

Todd,

EVERYTHING is in the trail car. Batteries, speaker, harness, and Revolution 2 for ESC and sound. I 3D printed a couple of parts to aid in the mounting of components.

I think you should re-locate the speaker to the loco or is this car to be used for other locos?

The plan is to use this trail car for future steam locos. I have 9 battery/RC locos now. I don’t want to buy more Revolution RXs. This was a solution. I already have 2 Bachmann 10 wheelers set up with everything in the tender, so this concept is not new to me. Looks like a nice tidy setup Joe.

I jammed a Revo, battery and Phoenix into my Shay and it was a tight fit.
