I made it back from vacation with about 100GB of video. I think I also spent my vacation budget for the next few years. 
My first week was at the Kettle Valley Railway in Summerland, BC. The weather wasn’t very nice, but I think I was still able to capture some of the beauty of their operation.

Did you mount a small camera on the front of the train, for the onboard shots?
Thanks Ray. For onboard footage I use a GoPro Hero4 Black. It wasn’t exactly on the front of the train. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)
