Montana Rail Link MOW Equipment/Other Photos

Montana Rail link scrap metal crane, in the snow in front of my house recently along with other MRL photos.

Apologies for links but the photos refuse to upload by conventional methods. Continual errors. Please disregard the second post, it double posted again. Maybe administrator can remove post 2. Thanks.

I am sorry. They are the photos are not here now. (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-frown.gif)

I wish I could figure out how to get photos to post like that.

My smartphone must require something unique to post photos properly or is incompatible??

Nice job Joe and,Thank you!

What did you do to get that to work? Maybe I can learn a little something here.

Ken

Looks too cold there! It might get down to freezing here, for a couple of hours …

Yea, it was negative 10 on that day! I think I’ll be moving south in the next few years. Since I am originally from California, this weather is not what I am originally used to either. I guess after 15 years you can get used to anything though.

Ken,

All of the photos I re-posted for you are gone this morning. Apparently “Dropbox” does not allow third party posting and overnight their bot pulled them. I am sorry.

Joe, they had been pulled by the time I got here, that’s why I opened one…

Crazy computers and phones, I guess I am not quite that computer literate when it comes to data transfering, photos, etc.

No worries Joe, you didn’t know and neither did I.

Thank you for trying though!

Smartphones don’t work well on websites and I have to invest everything I’ve got to keep my non profit program running, so I give up some luxuries like haveing regular home Internet service by combining my phone/Internet. Unfortunately, it doesn’t like to work completely accurately here on this site but I am just thankful I can post anything at all. I just wish it would quit double posting and allow photo posting better. I know this must be an inconvenience for everyone else here on the site.

And John thanks for trying.

Appreciate all you guys help!

Ken

No moderators here, drop Bob a note and if he has time on the weekend he might clean it up. Don’t worry, you are not the only Apple double poster. I-things and some phones, I think, speak double talk in the translation. (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-undecided.gif)

Perhaps posting fewer at a time will help, that’s quite a data stream you sent, they are all full size and resize to appear here.

Not a bad idea. I’ll try that next time! Maybe that’s part of the problem. If not, we tried.

Thanks, again. Ken

Let’s see what happens…

You get some interesting loads!

I’m guessing you are on the North side of the tracks…

John,

How do you get the photos to post like that, maybe I could try?

Sorry about the delay but I was on the Problem Solving forum posting info. about the Dash 9 motor issue. Kinda interesting!

We do get interesting loads with 32 trains a day, or more. We even get the huuuge, long windmill propeller blade trains, up to 97 cars. A lot of tank, grain, coal, (empty and full going to and from, 3X a day for Seattle Power And Light) as well as container, trailer, flat and auto carrier trains. We even have had a 4449 or 2 along with MRL passenger and business trains. We had Amtrak sneak through a few times but I caught em. Oh, and quite a few yearly military trains also.

John, how did you know we are on the north or as I call it the northeast side of the tracks? You are correct, MP 224.8. 14 miles or so railroad east of East Helena.

Ken

By the direction that the fuselages travel. That big clearance guard must lead and Boeing is west.(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Simple Watson, one must observe…

I open a pic in the list by clicking on a file in your list. When it opens I right click on the pic and copy it’s location. That is what I input in the pic icon pop up. I can’t add text after I’ve loaded it to the reply, if it’s a biggie. Posting it triggers the resizing.

John,

Smart observation, you are exactly right in every way! If I didn’t live 300 feet from the track for 15 years, I probably wouldn’t have known myself. Excellent observation!

I’m about 3/4 way to Winston from E. Helena.

Also the flag, way to the left, gave just a hint of shadow, placing your winter sun in the southern hemisphere. (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

John, your other reply came in while I was replying to the previous one.

By the way another great observation.

About the photo posting, I wonder if there is a way to do something similar on my smartphone??

I’d really like to find a way to post photos without a hassle, off my smartphone. Like I said before, it keeps displaying errors.

I contacted my provider for help and they checked all settings and said they were correct and that it had something to do with the site? I don’t know, I’m not much of an expert.

Ken

I’m smart phone challenged, damn thing doesn’t sense my cold fingers!

Way back Bob said there are keys, for our right clicking, in iOS. I don’t know if they are mobile, a different beast.

Maybe you could ask siri?
