First time I’ve steamed below 50

Hi Mike,

That was cool (pun intended) (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

What happened at the end of the video?

Did you have trouble lighting up your burner at 2ºF? (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)

At the end of the video, the engine came across a spot of ice I missed while cleaning the rails, so I stopped recording to stop the engine, to clean the rail. Then, when I went to start recording again, the battery in the iPhone died.

No problems lighting the burner, took a tad longer to build steam, but no problems lighting. What I did have an issue with, and I put it in my “Learning Process” thread, I purchased a can of Coleman butane/propane mix back in June, and when I had originally purchased Sammie from Jason, I had also picked up a long fill adapter, just-in-case. Threaded it on the can, and tried to fill my tank, and nothing came out. Upon closer inspection on the can, the nipple on the can is recessed deeper than the nozzle will go down, so not sure what to do with a full can of mix that I can’t use. In any case, I filled the engine with standard butane, and as mentioned earlier, had no problems lighting.

I just ran mine in 8 degree weather. It helps when the gas tank is close to boiler.

Cool!
