Looks great Joe,

Those little Spectrum 0-4-0 engines turned out to be very nice running engines. The layout looks nice and relaxing to operate!

Rocky,

In that video the Shay is running on track power (Aristo TE) and the Porter is running on battery power (Revo TE). (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Its always nice to have independent control. Your trackwork must have good conductivity as seen by the smooth running Shay.

How did you go about doing the battery install in the 0-4-0? I have two of them (1 side tank and 1 saddle), but I opted for the trailing battery car.

Since it’s a side tank loco I put a 9.6V NiMH battery in each tank. Revo receiver is in boiler. A 1 inch speaker enclosure is in the cab. Charge jack is on the bottom of the left tank and toggle switch is on the bottom of the right tank. It is my second most used loco, the most used being a battery/Radio Davenport. Now that one was a challenge!(https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Nice Joe, very relaxing to watch. Checked out your other videos too as they popped up(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)
