FYI the all scale GTS at Costa Mesa is this weekend. Stop by and say hello if you are going.

Holy cow was it busy. The stupid Schmatterhorn Gargraves flextrack was giving me kinipsions all day long. Took most of the afternoon to tweek and cajole the rails but it’s working alot better at end of today, pics tomorrow.

As for swag, bought another Lil Hauler from Hans, sheesh $35 can’t say no to that. Also got before the show started 4 used buildings, 2 Piko, 1 Aristo, and one ? resin building, for $30 total so now I have all my building for the outdoor layout.(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

I look forward to seeing those photos!

I wish I could load pics directly like Facelessbook, I have them on my phone

Couple pics from the show. First up the layouts, proof that the Schmatterhorn is actually working! …after two days of pulling and pushing the hollow rails into gauge… Oy!

And my $31 dollar investment…

Seriously, I could NOT beleive the prices on used G at the show, the bottom has fallen out of the used market apparently. Bridgeworks had used full size freight cars good condition estate sale items for $15 !!! In retrospect I should have picked up a couple Aristo 20’ cars they had but I’m already drowning in cars right now. There are always those at the shows who think their G stuff is worth weight in Rhodinium but then they never sell anything at shows, while Bridgeworks was virtually sold out of its estate sale stuff by end of day.

That’s not a rousing endorsement of the Gar Graves track.

In fairness I seriously doubt Gargraves ever envisioned their track being bent this tight

Sure…that sounds like a lame excuse. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)
