Large Scale Central

An 1865, 4 wheel, 2 tub, tank car inspiration.

Upcoming project but don't hold your breath waiting for it to get done. An 1865, 4 wheel, 2 tub, tank car inspiration.
Thinking something inspired by that on a G scale Hartland locomotive works 'mini' 4 wheel flat, even if the car frames are very different.
"When the firm was started, Pennsylvania was in the midst of an oil boom, and in 1865 Murray-McDougal built a small flat car with two wooden tubs for the transportation of oil. Dubbed a “tub car,” this car is believed to be one of the first tank cars ever built."

That’s a fun little project. I will patiently watch the progress.(http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

I will impatiently watch the progress.

Andrew, that is what Devon should have said.

Hey now, When have I EVER given anyone a bad time on how long a person is taking to build something? Hmmmm!!! I always, always, ALWAYS, am patient with other people and their builds. I might have once made a comment about a certain someone doing nothing other than sitting on there south end but I never once complained about how long they did it.

LMAO.

Devon, I was actually directing the comment at your patience, or, lack of same. Not your attitude toward other peoples’ builds.

And I enjoy sitting on my south end, but that is coming to a close here real quick. When the starting gun goes off, I have a bank to erect. I just hope I have the stones to do it.

Edit for the ratsen fratsen spell chequer again.

Oh we do have a cast of characters here. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)Wrote Mike a bit ago suggesting this might be a good first project for something useful to tow behind his new secondhand something like 7 inch gauge 4 wheel Plymouth in MoPac hues.

And that ice might be a good start for tub contents.

TWO TUBS!!! (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)

You are making my crew very jealous!
