These are real old pictures, I mean, REAL OLD, like 25 years ago, old! (and I was 25 years younger and didn't mind freezin my a&& off)

That's my original Bachmann Big Hauler, probably before the BBT drive was installed.

Randy got it right. It was one of those things you look at and think, is there a use for that? Then a light bulb goes off..........

And that is true modeling genius, using want you have to make what you want. Its amazing what you can find uses for, if you just put your mind to it. I find that my "vision" sometimes drives my mom nuts.

      Shawn,

Please stop trying to scam the elderly . He did say those pics were like 25yrs "old" and records clearly state he was "old" when they were taken 25yrs ago!

I disagree completely that with age comes wisdom. I knew everything when I was 18, now that I am 45 I realize I am dumber than a box of hammers. So maybe with age comes realization.

Yes there is that. And those of us who mature reach that point. But some folks never mature, and they grow old, and are dumb as a post but think they know everything. We all know someone like that I am sure.

And before anyone gets torqued off, I am not referring to anyone here. I have a close friend, 3 ex wives, one ex live in girlfriend, kids to all of them, child support payments out the behind, and he wonders why he doesn't have any money.

Edit to correct the spell chequer.

There doesn't seem to be enough room to put a plow in that building.

Ken I post this only for your internet safety ...if you answer a TELEPHONE call with a New Jersey extension DO NOT give him the last 4 digits of the plows number!

The plans were in the Sept-Oct 1992 issue of GR and it wasn't too long after that during that winter when it was built. It was originally blue, but I repainted it red and added the RGS decals on the side. I also re-did the hinges on the wings, made them a little beefier. Just recently I added some weight to the insides, that were from the tender of the K-27. Close to 25 years. It also doesn't get near the use it got back then either.
