I was told today at our club meeting that there is a special wheel for grinding aluminum and brass. Apparently, those two metals will clog a regular wheel, and eventually cause it to shatter. Can’t have that, I have too many wounds, already.

Does anyone have the gouge on this? What is the correct wheel to use with those two metals?

I have a disc sander, would that work?

Yes their is a wheel for aluminum, a standard wheel for steel will load up and can explode,

I use a disc belt sander for all brass and aluminum . Daniel is right. Seen the results.
