Large Scale Central

The transition

As some of you may recall - the younger ones, anyway - part of our layout is elevated but the bulk is on the ground … which means … there needs to be a transition. Partially finished it looks like this

A bit more to do in that spit on the LH. BTW as behooves a Swiss type layout there need to be

Edelweiss and

Enzian (Gentian) SWMBO is doing a mighty fine job with the plants.

Nice looking wall, HJ…

HJ,

Not only do your plants look nice, but so does that stone work and roadbed. A very telling picture.

Looking good HJ , but I think I see a rock , just not quite turned correctly ;- ) ha ha ha

Good work, HJ.

Thank you Gentlemen!

Dennis, there are quite a few rocks that need a bit of adjustment.

H.J.

David,

All about Enzian (Gentian) and pictures galore.

Edelweiss, Enzian and Alpenrosen (Rhododendron hirsutum, Rhododendron ferrugineum) are to me the typical alpine flowers. This despite there being hundreds if not thousands more.

David, The plan is to buy two “Alphornbläser”

and have them doing “the duelling Alphorn” routine from one mountain to the other. That will fix Brian and his “Schmalz”.

You wanna fix Brian slide one of those in his bedroom window at 3am and give it all ya’ got!
