    • Bright lights are fleeting, it's raining now...

    • Perfect spot, John.  Like Devon said, looks even better on the layout under whatever bright light that is you have there.  I wish we had such a light

    • Looks even better out on the layout. Vinegar bottle? Hmm here I thought you raided a hotel minibar.

    • Boy is my layout a mess, I beat Vic's rain and got pics in early morning and afternoon sun.

It's been a couple three years since I dirted the layout. Monsoons have washed most away, it's ok I have an endless supply 'to China'

With more dirt shoveled on the shadows  under the build will be gone.

That block of wood across the tracks once was covered in 1/8" thick boards glued and pinned on as a shack. 3 boards remain, another Fail for Wood Construction.

I'm glad I kept the Assay Office small, it fits!

    • Amazing work, John.  I love all the little details you create from what amounts to trash for most of us, as Jim so noted.  The melting furnace out of a vinegar jar, brilliant.  Every time I go back and look at the most recent photos I see another detail that makes me go wow.  I've always admired your work, but this is on another level.  Thanks for sharing your talents with us.

    • Spectacular John. I love your ability to make something out of what others (me!) would throw away as junk.

    • You need to splash some water on those blocks to simulate melting   Lights add another level of detail

    • Another great build Devon.  Only you could come up with a believable use for a chimney at an ice house ..... let that sink in for a minute ....... the one place where heat is your sworn enemy and you make the chimney work.  I love your sculpted rendition of Pepper and the ice blocks just make it real.  Again, great job.

    • Bill Your house has turned out very nice, a design that can fit on any layout that fits in the last 80 years.

this will look good on any layout.

      Great job

    • The house turned out great, Bill.  I love the simplicity of the structure, very natural.  Like Devon mentioned, your painting of the chimney was over the top.  Overall a great build, one of my favorites.

    • Eric, the Mueller clan has outdone themselves on this one.  Really a great build.  The building looks fabulous, but the details with the cakes, pastries, flagstone, etc., puts it over the top.  You have a great crew.  Tell them all thank you for playing along with the rest of us kids.  We could all learn some valuable life lessons from your family.

    • One of the more unique industrial builds, Lou.  Really enjoyed watching it come together.

    • Well that turned out to be a bit more than just a simple building to house a couple switches.  Nice job, Todd.

    • Nicely done, Todd!

    • It's looking real good. It was an ambitious project. Can't wait for you to finish it.

    • Well as expected, I did not finish the challenge build.  Still need to add roofing, jib crane, more painting and weathering, steps, details ..... on and on and on ......  But here it is anyway....

Dan,  so you want to build more stuff....... Mik 2021 is only 10 1/2 months away!

Yeah, I want to build more stuff but next on my list is a damn RR to put said stuff on   Unless the theme for Mik 2021 is to build a NEW RR, hmmmmmmm ................

boy Dan, you know a divorce lawyer for us all with the new RR Mik build? Would love to get this one somewhere near completed before trying another one.

No divorces, Pete, just cuts down on the competition since there are very few on here without  a layout.  Now if Devon and Eric have their way, it won't matter cause I'll never get finished printing
