      Hi Rooster;

       

      Porter #65, one of the steam locomotives I ran on the Wanamaker, Kempton & Southern tourist railroad (over 43 years ago now), was the principal motive power that hauled building materials for the Safe Harbor hydroelectric project.

      Okay, I know where Holtwood and Conowingo are. Where's Safe Harbor? 

      Never heard of that one.

      Just north of Holtwood Ken. Less than halfway to rte 30

      Surprised me... hence my deleted comment. I thought you ....never mind .....

       

       

      BTW ...the LO&S main before the split heading to Quarryville is buried in Lake Octoraro as the RR's ALWAYS(usually) follow the creeks which in this case became a necessity for modernization and was flooded.
