In viewing myself found that there are a few areas that need vertical alignment, but the train ran on its own while I filmed, in fact the helper really needed to be helping a little more coming over the last trestle, as evidence the slipping, but the trottles are visible near the first bridge!

Excellent video, on a terrific layout! Man, am I going to miss TrainOPs this year. Your layout is so exactly what I envision as the perfect layout. For video posting, right click on the video in YouTube and copy the embed code. Then come over here and choose the video icon, then the embed section and paste it in. You should be good to go!
Looking good Al. I completely agree with Ric’s statement on the design of your layout. I’ve been seriously considering abandoning the track into the front yard by making a sharp left at that big Maple (Indian Hill Bridge) and heading back in to the basement through an upper level window!
May not be an official TrainOps this year, but I’m thinking a camping trip up to Hinsdale, NH might be a possibility this summer.

I have no idea, Al. Did you use the “embed” code? That’s a lot different than the “share” code.

Your layout’s beautiful Al, wow, those trestles are amazing.
Thanks for the accolades. given that we cannot have a full blown TrainOps this year, I will try to post more video’s of the railroads operations this year. I am on a slow connection so uploads to YouTube take forever. I think the initial problem was when I copied the embed code from YouTube, it did not include the “S”. I have now corrected.

I have looked at and downloaded some critters, but have not got around to printing. biggest issue is determining the correct scale for these models. I do have sound cards for some of the cars as well but not permanently installed yet.

On second thought, I wonder if you could just have some 2D shapes in there - like cutouts but perhaps a little thicker - just a silhouette to suggest that the car is not empty. Sure would be easier and I’m not sure you would see much difference from a 3D model. (Just remember, NOTHING is impossible to the person that doesn’t have to do it! How about some 3D near the outer edges of the car and 2D with slight sanding/rounding in the middle? 2D could be cookie cutter in the approximate thickness of the 3D. Livestock is pretty well packed in tight to trucks or railroad cars to keep them from being thrown about. I’m surprised that the gummerment hasn’t demanded seat belts.
