      Hotel/Bath House and Bakery

Been working on the structure that contains a hotel, Bakery, and a bath house, the complete complete structure can only be 6" deep from the back to the front of the side/board walk in the front.

The structure is made from precision board, with 3d printed windows and doors, still with more to do i took some pictures today.

The inside is fully detailed, because it will be at around 4ft off the ground. Because of being in a trailer it will be dark enough that lights will be required even during daylight. We will be able to turn off the lights to represent about a sun down feature. So with the structures fully lit it will allow the inside details to be appreciated.

The bakery has pies and cakes and breads, the hotel has a lamp in the back corner and a stairs and check in counter on the right. The bath house has towels and soap and perfumes.

Thanks Sean, I feel honored to be mentioned in the same Sentences as Ray. I have visited Ray and his layout he is a very kind and gracious host to share his master piece with my wife and I.

But Tom the guy we are building the trailer together for, him and I work great as a team. I create the structures, 3D print all the accessories, he paints them and places them, I printed the wall paper

he hung the paper, and made me promise to never tell his wife, he hung wall paper. Woops she probably won't read this. It is amazing how long it takes to build a structure like this with the large amount of details.

We keep saying you don't have to be crazy to do this type of details but it sure helps.

      Thanks for your comments

      Dennis

Dennis, Thank you for taking the time out of your building day to photograph and narrate your trailer build. It was a pleasure to follow your progress.  I looked forward to your posts every day.  I am amazed at your talent and patience and have gotten a whole bunch of tips and ideas along the way. The build is so cool. How bout doing a sequel so we can enjoy it all over again. But then again that’s how it is with all of your projects. Thanks, Mark

Mark, We start our last structure tomorrow, then we have the 3 level deck in front of the mine, that has a lot of details, it will take 2 weeks to do it, I will show in detail the finished trailer.

Thank you for your commitment to follow this build. I appreciate you and others to follow this build and all your compliments. This trailer will be fun to share with many many people.

      Thanks

      Dennis

Fantastic work as usual Dennis.  This has been very entertaining to watch your creation come together.  Will there be a schedule posted for the display travels and showings?  Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Peter. We are probably not going to travel to far, we actually talked about maybe going to the Nat conv next yr if we can.

If you come to the Springfield area we can show you personally, because it will be set up all the time when parked at home.

Open the sides and turn on the switch

      Thanks Dennis

We were in need of a large tree that has a tree house in it. We have 2 structures with around 6 inches in between. We were wanting to make our version of a great idea we saw on the

Sundance G scale layout in Florida. Where boys are in a tree house sneaking a peak at a naked lady having her portrait painted by an artist. We placed a lady with a skimpy bikini top

and a small cloth covering her front, being photographed by a photographer.

So the big question is how do you make a large tree that will support a large limb that overhangs the train track and supports a tree house.

So the following picture is where it starts

I am sure everybody can see a tree in this piece of metal !!!! Hmmmmmm You can't?
