Nothing to do with trains

So this has nothing to do with trains. But since most of us are over the age of 40 on here I think this is the feel good story of the century. You are never to old to live your dream and make a difference. 42 year old Toronto Maple Leafs Zamboni driver is the emergency goalie. Apparently the home team in the NHL must provide an emergency goalie that can play for either team should both of their goalies get hurt. And on this night it did. This 42 year old father of three was told to suit up that he was going in. He played a period and a half against his own team. He made 8 saves and gave up two goal giving the Hurricanes the win. When it was over he received a standing ovation from the fans of both teams. He hadn’t played competitive hockey for 15 years.

We are never to old to make a difference.
