      Bring on the Christmas Trains!

I thought I'd be the one to start the seasonal thread to see how others combine the sundry winter holidays and observances with the large scale hobby.

Below, please find North Star, a B'mann 4-6-0, pulling its Christams gloss.  The Triple O endeavors to be liturgically correct to make up for its manifold errors elsewhere (scale, constancy in time and space, detail, etc., etc,) , but it makes an allowance for Advent and rolls out the Christmas rolling stock a bit early.  A second hand purchase for the Triple O, they have become part of our celebrations from Advent to Epiphany.

Anyway, enjoy a brief ride on the Polar Express Hawaiian style!

      Aloha,

      Eric

      It is A*M*A*Z*I*N*G

This year they are refurbishing the Conservatory so it is outside in a tent. Might be better to wait for next year.

Nice video, and I really like your herald, Tim, it's something different.

edit: judging from your profile picture, you have nice yellow hair.

The Redmond Creek RR Christmas Train is back in the shed until next year.  Here is a video of the Redmond Creek Logging Co taking the mainline.  Happy New Year all!
