Garden Railroads are even more at risk of being vandalized; I know of several in Europe over the last few years where the track was ripped up and stolen and the model buildings destroyed. There were some long discussions about the possibility of insurance - and what insurance would cover and what it would not.
An appeal has raised ( as at 20.30 BST Monday 20th.) over £76,000 roughly equivalent to $96,670 which is 101% of the total expected. The anticipated total was revised upwards as the cash was coming in thick and fast.
