Lets see your holiday train layouts

Now that the Thanksgiving feasts have been consumed, food coma achieved and bad football watched…its time for holiday train layouts. Be they indoors under the family Christmas tree or outdoors. My garden line is put to bed for the next several months as the weather gets downright brutal in north central Indiana. But the indoor overhead line with a LGB 2073D with a mixed train and once I get the tree decorated, an LGB Staniz set will be doing the honors under our tree. Pics to follow sometime tomorrow once the tree is done. Lets see everybodies holiday train displays once they are up and running. LGB has taken over the under tree duties here this year as my sister’s youngest boy asked for a train under their tree this year. I have decided as my wife and I were unable to have kids, that my father’s Lionel set from the late 1940’s will become Ronan’s this year so the set can stay in the family for another generation and hopefully he will have a son someday to hand it down to. I have had the set since I was 12 when I got it given to me by my grandfather. Time to pass on the tradition. Merry Christmas from our family to yours! Mike and Michele T

Tree is still a work in progress with decorations, but here is our 2018 set up, overhead train passing thru as I took the picture. Mike and Michele T
