I'm still around - Watchtower kitbash

I got the upper part of the watchtower on fleabay, with a few other odds and ends, but I had to scratch the tower and base, tower supports are basswood on a pine base. Ideas are awork out back, having a big think about what I'm going to do with the last untamed wilderness of the back corner. Lot of groundwork this winter. Now if it would just stop being 90 degrees every weekend...:)

Vic, that is looking good a little paint and a ladder you're good to go, I just cheated and kit bashed a solar pathway light but it looks good with my small stuff. Make sure you post a picture when you are finished, Billswitch tower

Thanks Bill, you can't see it but there is a ladder underneath. Still a little detail work to do.

Vic, I like the name, reminds me of a favorite hillbilly band; The Skillet Lickers

Huh? Gee round here its been cold and rainy every weekend......

I see them towers in some of the smaller tows I go to. No tracks anymore, but the tower is still there. I think they are cool structures, and you done good with your bash.

Looking good Vic. Now that I have moved indoors and most of my buildings lost parts to the dust devils I will have a busy winter. We were in the 30s last night!
