I just can not figure out how just you and Jane accomplished ALL this by yourselves. It's mind boggling!

Joe, we moved into this house in 2005 and started the layout in 2006..  I always said it was a 10-year project, however, Jane always tried to make it a 2-year project...

Legionaries disease in fall 2009, basically took me out of action for just about 2 years, and work has been slow since then..

However, the original plan didn't actually have a narrow gauge logging switchback..  So, the New Memphis area and the power plant extension was completed last year for OPS..

Saying that, I have met my 10-year plan...   The switchback logging setup was just gravy...

We have had help from friends and some club members over the years, so it has been more than just the 2 of us.

And trust me, if Jane wasn't so involved with the layout, it wouldn't even be close to being workable...

Since Andy's freightshed is full, an account was created in Jane's name..

Below are some pictures from the Ops session that didn't get posted previously.

Pete's train in the switchbacks lumber/sawmill yard..

Jane's shay on the switchback with Dale helping.

Below are some general shots..  Ric and Matt having a conversation as the train departs Hadley Forest and heads towards Sparta..

Tmark and Ric as train runs on EVWR trackage heading to Woodlawn..

Train at the top is running the Hilltop Subdivision, and train at the bottom is running the Sparta Subdivision..

Bridge without a train on it in the middle is EVWR tracks..

And this is the last of the Oct Ops pictures..

John, those are Dwarf Alberta Spruce trees that Barber Jane has trimmed..   Jane says they are from being planted in 2007..
