This is what I ordered from Andy Rutter at Micron:

      Item# dt_tx22x / 95043 / R1
      £60.00 GBP

      Item# dt_rx65-2-n / 93158 / WD4 Options:

      Variation (22: train with Tx22/Tx24/Tx72)
      Throttle Control (center off throttle)
      Antenna(wire aerial),
      Power/Motor Leads/Connectors (100mm battery & motor leads),
      LVC (LVC Enabled), Good idea?
      Daughter Board (none)
Options: Heatshrink Cover(heatshrink cover supplied loose)
       £35.00 GBP

Even though I just ordered on Tuesday the 10th, Andy has already communicated that he ran out of Tx2 modules and he will work over the weekend to get the orders out on Monday the 16th. I am very impressed with Andy's customer communications and dedication!

I am interested in any comments about what I ordered, particularly the Low Voltage Control. I will be using three Ecogear FX 18650 3000mAh lithium-ion batteries; they have an integrated PCB protection circuit.

I have learned a lot from Rik's BlogSpot but I am sure I will have a lot more questions.

Del t G scale graphics also carries the LocoSound boards which are priced at $79...

Whilst researching sound cards, I found this on the G Scale Graphics site; that convinced me, so I ordered the steam card, remote programmer and speaker from Del:
