For those who model in 1:29 scale, properly scaled vehicles are hard to come by. 1:24 is too large, and 1:32nd is too small. But, 1:27 vehicles are close, maybe close enough for some of you to look into them when they become available.
Today I saw a 1:27th scale Silverado truck in an email flyer, and I thought I would let Yunz know about it.
It comes in either blue or red, and at $14.99 it isn’t overly expensive.

Hey that’s me! Thanks David. I’m always on the lookout for closer to 1:29 vehicles. I have some Maisto pickups and jeeps in 1:27. Some Newray pickups are passable. Wish there were more cars though. All I’ve found are mini coopers and Audio A2 in 1:30 and a Corolla and Datsun 280Z in 1:28.
I have always said I wanted to own a Lamborghini. At that price I guess I can!

there are lots of useful vehicles, including a 1/28th tractor, a 1/28th camper
and a 7/8ths scale scooter (1/14th claimed)

Cars and people in 1/29 is what keeps me thinking about dumping 1/29 and moving to something like Proto48. A lot more “accessories” available in 1/48.
I’d love to see any 1960-1970 era vehicles on 1/24 1/25. I can’t find anything that fits the early 1970s.

The autos and trucks available for “O” scale are either 1:50, or 1:43. 1:43 is the true 0 scale, but you wont find any rolling stock made in that scale, anymore.

Craig, I do tend to visit the toy department at Walmart, Walgreen’s, Kmart, Dollar General, Toys R Us and such a bit too often. But I never know when I am going to find another car to add to my collection.
I have too many die casts, most are the $10 ones at Walmart and Tractor supply. I do put a UV film on the windows so they don’t fog up outside. Handy that many are still in the box, since I"m moving in a month or two.

Jerry, what I showed in my posts is a fraction of what I have. I have model Ts, close to the era I was shooting for, the old Ertal truck banks in the same vintage, of course I have the classics everyone has, like a 57 Bel Air, a Camero and a Mustang or three. And I don’t (usually) spend more then about $15 for an auto. I got a bunch of model T panel trucks from KayBee Toy and Hobby for $5 each. Now I just need a town with streets…
