I'm still not understanding how the Amtrash fits into this plan? It looks out of place to me and should be sold for $20 as that's what it's worth  cause it's Amtrak. Just send it to me and we will call it even! I'll pay for the shipping even though I shouldn't the way you have treated me over the years!

Son, I guess you missed the part where it was stated ""Rooster don't look below the top level"" huh...

Wanted to provide some not blurred overall shots:

Just overall shots of the entire Industrial Park.

There actually 5 industries that are serviced.

Where the paper is taped on the wall will be another building painted..

and that the end of the updates for now..

Looks great Andy.  Not to take away from what your painter is doing, but have you seen what Kevin Strong is doing with printed textures on foam core board?  He's posted some pics on Facebook, but probably also on his website.  Very cool stuff for indoor.

Thanks, Jon..   No, haven't seen what Kevin Strong is doing.. I don't do Facebook or twitter or any of that crap..

      Don't know his website..

Our club did printed textures that we place on a thin foam insulation and used them as backdrops for our modules..

They were printed on like a vinyl sheet, kinda like wallpaper except there was no glue and it could be taken up and

      re-adjusted..

Joe, I don't remember..  Got it a long time ago.. Only have the one..

Possibly picked it up at Toys-r-Us.. It's where I also got the tanks on the car to the left of it.

      Andy Jane

      Great photos.  Excellent progress.

I must admit thought I was hoping to see progress on the true upper level (the one upstairs around the rooms)  :)

      Take care and stay safe

It's been a while since we were able to have an update to the wall painting progress..

Fortunately, my painter has returned and completed some more work on the wall..

these will be progressive shots starting at the edge of town and moving to the Industrial

      Park area..

Basically, the below 2 pictures have had more details added..

Starting just behind the boxcar, is an added building in the background..

Further down the wall are more industries behind..  Those industries are also serviced by rail as will be shown by looking thru the

alleyway..  This alleyway has a pencil drawing taped to the wall as a guide..

Looking at the next alleyway, you can see the boxcars on the tracks between industries..

Further along will be another alleyway.

The white factory at the end is not finished yet...  What is planned is a 2 or 3 story higher building with 2 freight tracks that

will be serviced under those levels..  The Cotton Belt boxcar is actually sitting on the mainline thru the industrial area..

It was moved there so she could work on painting the wall..

It is nice to see the painting being done again..

And that's the latest update as of now....

      More to follow...

Still don't understand how Amtrak fit's into that scheme? Perhaps you need to sell it !

Great work and detail!  Looked at them earlier, but wanted to get on the confuser to really see the detail.  The idea of other railroad cars between the buildings is great industrial depth!

      Thanks for sharing.

Really nicely done. The second layer (background) is an idea I've rarely seen done and it really adds depth / realism.  I can get lost in the canal painting on the door. AWESOME!!!

Jon and Ric, my desire for the Industrial area was to show it as a much larger complex..

I didn't want to spend a bunch of her time doing all kinds of scenery between and behind the buildings..

By designating one track thru my industrial area as a mainline, that gives the way for working freight to

access the second set of tracks behind..  At least that's the way I have it figured in my mind..

And trust me, my mind is a very scary place.....

Here are the latest updates for the alleyways in the Industrial Area:

Along with the alleyway in the below picture is the start of roof details.

Again roof details are penciled in along with the freight cars in the alleyway.  The white all is covered with an actual structure

on the layout..   It was removed to be able to work on the wall painting..

And that's the latest update for now...
