Large Scale Central

Test run on the SF & Bh. C. R.R.

We have been working on some bad spots on our Santa fe & Butthead Cove R.R. Found some mess up wiring on a override

block manual throttle that I replaced and ended up by causing a wreck.

After a few repairs and cleaning up a few bad electrical connections, Railroad

stated to run pretty darn good again.

One of the our Train guys ( Ben Shell ) both his two boys over to have his youngest son run his Batt. R/C train. This gave him a chance to see how R.R.'s run with operating track signals.

He had a ball as it shows in the Video. He did darn good for his age.

Great! (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Thanks Joe. Guess we still have one area that we are going to have to install 5 foot sections of track yet. It has a bunch of 2. 3 and 4 foot section at Pine Tree Jct. that the joint/hillmans is giving us problems. It get walk on sometimes and watered a lot in that area. Just part of maintaining and working on the R.R. as being track power. (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)

Looks great, Joel.

Xavier is a cool dude!!! Thanks for the video…I’m jealous.

Nice looking layout Noel, really well landscaped!

Where is the swing bridge that kills trains at? lol

Good one, Noel. Glad to see things running right again.

I wonder if Joel’s WP Zephyr train can negotiate those curves on the main line. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Thanks guys for the comments.

Pete L. The Swing bridge in part of the Helix over the Koi pond. It show part of it with Ben youngest boy, running his batt. train in the video.

Michael K. Joel H. Zephyr runs around on his patio loop that is 8 ’ Dim. with no problem with 13 USA Pass cars. Our smallest is 10" Dim. Should be no problem with it as long as you put in at least a 2 foot section of straight track before going in a rev. turn. USA couples work great and he only have one Kadee on OBS end and Baggage car one end .

Tried to run some trains today and had to get the Maint. crew out to clear the track… It was not a easy task to move Miss Peanut off the tracks.

Crew foreman said "We don’t have a large enough crane to handle that much dead wt. " LoL.

So the SF & BH C R.R. railroad down time cost was one hr. delay. We tried something difference to get the tracks cleared off. It only took 3 second after opening a can of Kat food to get her moved. Didn’t need a crane or crew after all. LoL.
