Large Scale Central

A question of process and etiquette

There is a disturbing (if true) story floating around this morning (via email and FB) about a former LS store owner, and previous LSC advertiser. I have been asked about posting it here, but I do not want it here until we know whether or not it is true. I dont want this to turn into a giant fire storm of finger pointing and stories that may or may not be true.

Thanks for your patience.

-=Bob

It doesn’t look good, and not just from the story that popped up on line in the last 24hrs…

What, you mean this isn’t the National Enquirer?

Its not the first time I have heard this happening if its the story I think it is. From what I have heard multiple people had similar issues in the past.

Bob, even though I do not know what you are talking about, I appreciate your discretion.

You just shot yourself in the foot, Bob…you’ll never get a job at CNN, Fox News, ABC, CBS, or NBC now.

Don’t matter John, I already sold the story to “ALL” the other individually owned Large Scale train form owners out there. Now all I have to do is sit and wait for a check. So far Error 505 has responded back and I’m thinking a new C19 with the check I receive or possibly a Bachmann American

I feel the reliable source has the story correct. However it does involve midget clown porn and a plunger factory !

Do we really know what is real or what is fake any more ? —removed political content—

Deleted political content.

You all know the rules. If not, go read them again.

I’m all good on the midgets, but PLUNGERS?! that goes too far. No wonder Bob is being discrete.

Are we talking about midget plumbers here???

They should be cheaper than the usual guy. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)

I dunno, midget plumbing sounds like a niche trade. And do you know what lift shoes cost now days?

Boy! I’m really disappointed that we couldn’t generate tons of pages A Speculatin’

… and I am surprised that folks don’t know how to take a hint…

No wonder BD signed off “Grumpy”!

I am always amazed at the bad behavior of others. The ones acting badly, certainly would not want to be treated the way they are treating someone else. So why do they feel justified in behaving that way?

Yes, we all have bad days, or off days, but one bad day doesn’t give someone the well earned reputation that some folks have for being a ______ .

There are several stores I will never shop in again. I am the customer, and I deserve a certain amount of respect. Insulting me, overcharging me, or just plain treating me bad, ensures I will not come back to that store. Also, there are certain people I try and avoid, in life, at jobs I had, in clubs I belonged to, etcetera, because they just didn’t know how to treat people, well, me, right.

What ever happened to the golden rule?

today, there are not more a-holes, than in the good old times.

it is just, that thanks to the net, we are exposed to more of them.

I’d like to avoid the taxman, but you know what the Beatles said…

Yeah, but what to do with Groucho Marx and the Golden Rule in reverse then? “I don’t want to belong to any club that would have me as a member.” Ha ! ?

Sure wish I knew what this is all about. Someone in the know please send me a message.
