Over this past weekend I took my portable layout to the Owls Head Transportation Museum near Rockland Maine. They were hosting their annual Model Expo. There were quite a nice variety of models, aircraft, boats and ships, steam machiney and TRAINS! we had live steam and some battery power on my track. next to us was a display of 3-rail O-gauge running on some tabletops nicely decorated with green grass, roads and buildings.

We got to talking…we think this is probably the easternmost steamup or probably even gathering of G-gauge trains in the US…could it be so?
