What is stall current on USA Trains 44-tonner 22154?

Does anyone know the stall current on a USA Trains 22154? The one my friend has is a Union Pacific number 55.

Not to make this too complex, do you mean

locked rotor stall

wheel slip stall (with or without traction tires?)

My guess is someone wondering if they can use a more lightweight decoder.

Greg

Your guess is correct. I am looking for the “Slip Stall” without traction tires.

The other numbers would be interesting to know as well.

Thanks.

My guess is not over about 2.5 amps…

If you don’t get an answer I’ll pull one out this weekend…

the motors used are not the little toy motors, so I would hesitate to use an HO decoder.

Does your friend have one he wants to use, i.e. specific model?
