What automated reverse loop devices are available?

Looks like my Magic Motorman reverse loop module is finally giving up the ghost. I’ve used it for many years on my Christmas layout with a single mainline and reverse loops on either end. However, it appears to be not switching the polarity as it used to when the train comes out of the loop onto the mainline. Or, it is switching it slower.

Question, what automated reverse loops devices are available on the market these days?

thanks

I got an LGB reverse unit and love it. It has a nice slow start and stop and you can adjust the time at stops. I believe Vincent has the Piko and LGB, if I remember correctly, he liked the LGB better because you can adjust the time it stops. Ebay has some generic ones. I tried one (forget name but no longer in production) It worked good but when compared to the LGB you noticed the difference. I believe the Aristo are good, if you can find one.

Shawn, I believe you have the wrong concept … the gentleman needs the device that changes track polarity coming out of a reverse loop.

Not back and forth on a length of track.

I went a different way and can’t advise him.

LGB G Scale Reversing Loop Track Set. I believe that they work well.

cheers

Yea, mine is a home brew controller, so I can’t advise on what is commercially available neither.

RR Concepts probably has what you need.

only trains have them

LGB does have 2 different reverse loop control modules, one is DCC only, the other is DC and DCC.

The Massoth one works well, and works in reverse loop applications for both DC and DCC.
