I like these cars overall. I wish they came with metal wheels and even metal trucks. I added a new set of KD RB trucks to one last week.

I had an extra set of Aristo RB trucks laying here. So I installed bearings inside and then added new larger wheels.

The KD 908 medium offset couplers fit without cutting much of the underframe.

Does anybody know of a glue that will work on the plastic that forms the man-guards at the top of the car. I have yet to find one that works.

I use Gorilla super glue. It has some kind of rubber in it so that it holds up much better on toy trains than regular super glue.
