I thought it might be something to experiment with. The seller indicates that the frequency can be changed to 433MHz. Is that the frequency we use in the States ?

I would have thought the base unit was a bit big for our use inside a loco and it is 12 volts, although 24 volts is available.

The base is rather large Tony. It might fit in a full size box car however. Yes, it’s pretty bare bones stuff. We’re always looking for a cheap way to control our trains. These things don’t come close to the stuff you and Del Tapparo produce.
