      A battery R/C ESC with real grunt

      For those that need 10 amps at 24 volts RCS is now selling the Mtroniks VIPER-10-24 Centre off ESC.



      Bargain priced at A$69. About US $49. Plus A$10 postage.
      Easy set up, no complicated programming.
      Works with any Digital Proportional R/C such as RCS TX-3, TX-7 or TX-9 + regular stick radios.
      Fitted with in-line JST connectors with silicone wiring for up to 5 amps. Cut off plugs if higher amperage needed.
      Simple add on plug in 2 x function switches for sound triggers etc.

      Tony, does this require a receiver? or is it a stand alone?

      Looking at the pictures, there's a connection to a receiver.

      Going to the link, it says "
      USE WITH ANY REGULAR 2.4 GHz MULTI CHANNEL RX. SOLD SPEARATELY.'

      I'd say you need to add a receiver. ESC normally means speed control only.
