      Rooster's dead man!

       

       

      Like the grade reduction documentation, would be nice if you dug the story back up about "Dead Rooster Gulch" for the new comers. It was a well written story but I hate that story and it should be printed as a "pop-up" book as they scare the hell outta me sometimes!

      As threatened, I'm rebuilding the stepover.  It was a sort of triangular shaped deck.  That was all torn out, and five tons of 1- and 2-man rock delivered.  Here's progress to date.  

       

       

      You can see in this pic the large piece of slate as a tunnel top, where the odd and ungainly stepover was.

       

       

      And, from the back grade, new tunnel to the left.

       

       

      I'm about 80 percent done.  I'm hoping to have it all in place this weekend, as I still have a bit of trackwork to do at Majestic before TrainOps in < 3 weeks.
