The end of June will mark fifteen years of LSC. Of arguments of battery vs track power; of steam vs diesel; of member A thinking member B is an idiot, while member B thinks member A is arrogant and obnoxious, etc. To celebrate fifteen years of me not drinking myself to death putting up with all of this, and still enjoying myself, I’m having a deal for the next fifteen days (Until the 30th).

For those of you that have an active Freight Shed, or Supporting Member account, if you use the “Donate” button on the front page, and pay for another 12 months of your account ($25), Ill increase the amount to fifteen months (see, fifteen years, fifteen months, get it?) Make sure to put “Fifteen for the fifteenth” in the message field of the Paypal payment.

Bob, I looked at my profile… it says I am a “regular member”

My freight shed says “free freight shed, 10 meg limit”

I sent you $50 on last November 28.

Shouldn’t I be seeing different statuses?

I’m happy to send more money, but I thought my last donation, which was double what was asked, would have been reflected in a somewhat larger freight shed, or maybe show up as “supporting member”.

Thanks for 15 years of dedication Bob!

My situation is very similar to Greg’s. I sent a paypal payment last year a bit after the black friday special. Similarly I sent $35 instead of $25 dollars to show my appreciation for Bob’s hard work. When I look in my profile I see the same status as Greg does. I don’t really mind if my Freight shed has lots of capacity since 99% of my photos are on flickr, I just want to help support the site. I have wondered for a while about the same question Greg poses though. Just would like to be sure Bob is actually getting my money.
