What would it do?
I assume “like” the post or thread (I vote for the thread, if you want to like a post, then do the rep on the poster)… then we need to find a way to find the “liked” posts.

oops, looks like that feature was removed, all I see above the text editing area is a bullet saying “no icon”… what happened?
At least you can put some text there… AND you can format it!

Korm, I usually can communicate in that type of format, but sometimes my mush brain locks up and I can can only mumble and mutter. That doesn’t translate into the written word very well.
I thought if we really liked something, we just thanked the poster for it. At least it seams to be working that way to me.
Oh, I thought maybe youse guys would use it to show your buddies who have also booked face, that you aren’t expired yet…

Actually also re-instating the emoticons in the title would really do it.
You can only put text in the title, and the default icon cannot be changed, notice that little icon that does nothing just above the text of your post? Works on other forums.

Better than “friends” that Face’ users seemingly get so strung out on ! 
Past media reports have indicated some peoples are close to committing suicide when so-called “friends” numbers are so low compared to their peers, or when others enmasse have de-friended them later.
tah “Like” is way more appropriate.
