Large Scale Central

Expansion

Just awesome! Now from the Forums page you can minimize the groupings or expand them as desired. This makes checking for new messages a lot easier; after I have checked the General area for new messages, I “close” that area and move on to Modeling. This makes it a lot easier on a tablet, as I can minimize scrolling.

Thanks, Bob.

OK, so not only are these little expansion/contraction thingies neat, I also like how you have shortened the page in other ways - specifically the Vendors and Manufacturers area on the Forums page. I also like the website area.

Nicely done.

Hey, I have to get some good points somehow.

Good point Bruce, but…

The way I see it (no I don’t usually hang out with a smallish screen) that would work even better if the “Forums” page would open in minimized form. That way one would have all the subgroups on even a small screen and would open whichever of those would show a green arrow for new posts. That would really cut down on scrolling, even on a 22" display.

Well, that was the original wish, HJ. But, I don’t always get what I want. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cry.gif)

Still, a nice improvement. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

That’s how it goes; I have a list of “wouldn’t it be nice” items, with more additions than delitions. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-undecided.gif)(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-embarassed.gif)
